Abstract

Integration can be described as a process of making something whole or uniting separate things. Undeniably, educational institutions contribute to the development of socially conscious citizens. The teachers helped enrich pupils’ understanding of their social responsibilities and abilities. Given the present implementation of the Lasallian Reflection Framework (LRF) in the conduct of the development of course materials, the researcher explores the integration of LRF into the course  Christian Living and Values Education (CLVE) under the Senior High School CL curriculum. Through this exploration the researcher  investigate how might students develop skills towards committed action.

Following a descriptive design, this paper examines the online survey responses of the 2,520 Grade 11 and Grade 12 students of DLSU-IS SHS both from Manila and Laguna campuses in relation to the integration of the phases of Lasallian Reflection Framework (LRF): see-experience (masid-danas), analysis-reflection (suri-nilay), committed to action (taya-kilos) These perceived responses will be further analyzed in terms of its influence towards  social responsibility.

The researcher sought the permission from  the CLVE Research Team, to utilize a 10-item validated researcher made questionnaire in the conduct of this study. The data was generated and analyzed by applying the Jamovi software. The main implication of this study is that this study provides additional insights on how LRF contributed to the skill acquisitions towards a more committed-action.
