Item Analysis of Written Assessments in Christian Living Extracted from LMS

Abstract

The full utilization of Animospace as a Learning Management System in DLSU-Integrated School has provided teachers and students a platform to enhance teaching-learning encounters. An added feature of the LMS is Quiz Statistics, which provides data analytics of the student’s performance in assessments. This paper will maximize data from the LMS to analyze the students’ performance in the Multiple-Choice Questions administered online. This attempt will provide insight into the improvement of test construction and its alignment with the ongoing curriculum enhancement in the Christian Living Area. Data will include standard deviation and discrimination indexes from two 30-point quizzes I gave to 2 CL classes I handled for this second AY 2023-24 term.
