Abstract

Spiritual Growth and Personal Values of an individual are essential in the development of a person. Generation Z nowadays are digital natives which affects their spirituality and values. In this study, its aimed is to examine the relationship between the spiritual growth and personal values among Generation Z college students in one of the universities in Pampanga, Philippines. There were 411 random students examined from different colleges. The data from total of 411 respondents were examined for descriptive statistics and correlation analysis. Students’ spiritual growth have a significant relationship with their personal values. The findings underscore the need to acknowledge the intricate relationship between spirituality and values in this generation, and the potential role of higher education institutions in shaping their ethical and moral frameworks. As Gen Z continues to navigate the complexities of the modern world, it is imperative to support their spiritual development and the cultivation of values that promote a just and compassionate society. The finding of the study revealed that there was a significant relationship between the spiritual growth and their personal values of the respondents since they are correlated with one another. It shows that there is an effect in terms of the development of the two. With this, conclusion and recommendation were driven out for future research.
